I am in a single commodity area where the Investor-Owned Utility (IOU) provides either gas or electricity, what incentives would I qualify for?

In a single commodity IOU service territory, the utilities have a sharing agreement where they will provide both the incentives. Except in PG&E service territory where the incentive will be paid only for the commodities that PG&E provides and Southern California Gas Company service territory where you must contact the representative to determine the incentive arrangement.

How do I get paid the incentive?

After you receive the application acceptance letter and Request For Payment form from the utility, you may proceed to apply for the incentive. Before you submit for the incentive, the home must be completed and had the final HERS inspection. The HERS inspection must be uploaded by the HERS rater into the provider registry under the project shared or created by the utility so that the utility may view for incentive verification.
